There is a more affordable model in the Laredo that starts at $47,500 (plus on-roads) for the rear-drive version that is perfect for suburban duties only, or there’s the luxury-focused Overland, the off-road specific Trailhawk or the high-performance SRT variants that sit above it.Įven in the Limited though, you get leather trim, a powered tailgate, 20-inch alloy wheels, heated front and rear seats (and steering wheel), dual-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster and a 8.4-inch colour multimedia system with sat nav, Bluetooth, voice control and digital radio. The Grand Cherokee Limited costs $62,500 (plus on-roads) with a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine – as we’re testing – or $69,000 (plus on-roads) with a 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel that is better suited for long distances, towing or those adventurous enough to head off the beaten track every now and then. How much does it cost and what do you get?
